V&T EcoDriveCN® explosion proof motors, hazardous duty motors

As a recognised manufacturer and supplier, V&T EcoDriveCN® explosion proof motor (hazardous duty AC motor) series is cost effective, specifically designed for traditionally hazardous industries where explosive gases and vapors are present.

Our explosion proof motors are totally enclosed fan cooled product lines equipped to contain an explosion that may occur inside the motors, as well as prevent explosive gases and vapors from being released into the environment.

V&T EcoDriveCN® explosion proof motors are manufactured to the requirements of Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and the National Electrical Code (NEC) in class, group and temperature code restrictions.

The explosion proof motors (hazardous duty motors) are designed and built to meet both Class I and Class II requirements. These motors are fully tested in order to obtain an explosion proof rating, meet the requirements for UL- and CSA-Listed Hazardous Locations, then offer the highest performance and reliability for indoor and outdoor use.



Our high quality and robust explosion proof motors are designed for use in hazardous environments having certain explosive gases or materials present, like those found in the chemical, coal mining, textile and petrochemical industry.
